Urgoz is one of my favorite elite zone. It's just a ton of fun : area's effects, lots of mobs with deadly AoE skills, pretty long, beautiful ... But it's almost impossible to do it with PUG. You must have a good teambuild to finish it. I've always done it with guild/ally. Of course the reward is not great but wth, guildwars is not only farming for christ's sake. You should try it with your guildies/friends/allies. Even if it takes 2 hours, you'll see it's good fun. You can easily find builds and walkthrough.

This is for both Urgoz and The Deep:
1. Add in new greens.
2. Give HIGH amounts of Kurzick/Luxon rewards.
3. Give a bit more mention about it *I even know old players who don't know what Urgoz or the Deep is * Apperently, 1 NPC *2 on special weekends* and a scroll is not enough for either of them.

Nightfall storyline. Domain of Anguish. Eye of the North storyline. Slavers' Exile. CoF runners. HM titles that avoids all Elite Missions.
The only new thing since Factions that would bring people back to Urgoz/the Deep would be the HoM statues. Which I still need to get for Urgoz and the Deep x.x

people were doing urgoz way before ,splinter even being used in urgoz,so imo i guess because the end greens are kinda redundant except the unique skin of urgoz longbow and maybe because ,with nightfall and eotn the players have moved on.

urgoz isn't done much since the reward versus the time it takes isn't that great. my guild does it in about 20-40 minutes but forming up still takes around an hour. in a hm run, you'll get maybe 2-4 chests plus the end chest. we don't do it for the reward since we just find urgoz fun.
most guilds i've seen still take 1.5-2 hours
probably would see a lot more activity if they added a kurzick reward or let you get the kurzick blessing at the beginning. with the right team, it might even end up being faster than hfff

^ ^ What Enko said. We do urgoz for fun not for drops with a full guild/alliance team. It always takes longer to form up than it takes us to finish the run. The drops aren't worth it, but the actual adrenaline rush you get from blazing through itis really unmatched. A kurzik reward is definitely a plus if they decide to add it.

I agree, a big kurzick reward (and a luxon reward for the deep) would be a really nice idea, and will "remotivate" some of my friends who did a lot of "urgoz speed runs" but stopped several months ago...being bored with the area (no real reward except fun...)
Oh, and Arenanet please add Zodiac and celestial spears/scythes too

there should be something like a common place for people looking for elite areas.
Something like a party window that connects all outposts at once. no matter if you are waiting at the temple of ages UW2 or whereever.

Imagine something simple. Every time you complete urgoz or the deep you gain 5k kurzick/ luxon faction. Atleast for a weekend anyway.

Even if the faction reward would be 10K for completing Urgoz/Deep you could earn this amount of faction faster in HFFF (with average 90sec cycle)
If you'd run Urgoz in say 1½ hr you could get 24K faction running HFFF.
On the other hand it would be much more fun to do Urgoz then to run HFFF for 1½ hour Therefore I would vote for a 10K faction reward and better chest rewards to get people back to Urgoz/Deep.
